African black soap
Our women co-op members handcraft our Authentic African Black Soap from a centuries-old recipe of Unrefined, Raw Shea Butter and Orangutan-safe West African Palm Oil. Alaffias Authentic African collection is likened to the home remedies of Togolese mamans.
Our Authentic African Handwoven Baskets are from our co-ops in West Africa and each basket is personally signed by the weaver. The weavers receive upfront Fair Trade wages. Alaffia’s work in these communities has provided potable water year-round for weavers in Sumbrungu Atampure and Shirigu, near Bolgatanga.
