Apply to hair after using Alaffia Moisturizing Shampoo, smoothing evenly from roots to ends. Allow to penetrate for 60 seconds and rinse. For external use only
I have very fragile, extremely dry curls. This soaks right in, but must be rinsed after 1 minute (Just 1 1/2 pumps for shoulder length). Any longer and I find my hair a bit greasy. It doesn't detangle, but this and the lavender shampoo are the only things that keep me from being frizzy. I actually have defined ringlets for the first time since childhood. There was a learning curve using the conditioner and I think the lavender set must really only be good for the extra dry end of normal-extra dry hair scale, but it's totally worth it. Also, love the ethics of this company.
I absolutely love this company and it’s ethics. But I can not get behind this product. It doesn’t really do anything for you hair that a conditioner should. Not hydrating, smoothing or detangling. It’s nice that it comes in a bulk size. But even the affordability isn’t worth it if it has no function. Love other products though!
I really like the shampoo, and I really wanted to love this because I love what the company does supporting female farmers in Togo. It's just that it doesn't really work for my hair. It doesn't make it feel smooth or detangle it at all, and once it dries it feels kind of greasy as though I hadn't washed it for a few days.
